Participant / Intern

Joining UnMath School’s ‘Math in Sports’ program showed me how to apply my love for numbers to real-world problems, from optimizing cricket angles to predicting player valuation. As an Intern at UnMath School, Dubai, I co-developed the structure, format, and judging framework for an International Math Debate aimed at middle school students worldwide. Working closely with the UnMath team, I conducted competitor research, analyzed existing competitions, and helped design a distinctive event that integrated mathematical reasoning with real-world issues. I brainstormed over 40 potential topics spanning fields such as environmental science, technology, and engineering, and co-created a judging rubric that balanced analytical rigor with creativity and clarity. This experience reshaped my understanding of mathematics, not as a set of formulas, but as a language to build arguments, tell stories, and make informed decisions. Through this project, I honed my research, strategic thinking, and collaboration skills, while learning to view math as an interdisciplinary tool for innovation and communication.

Book My Show
Intern

As an intern at BookMyShow, Mumbai, I gained hands-on experience in data analytics and database management. I learned to use Structured Query Language (SQL) to extract, organize, and interpret large datasets, deepening my understanding of how data drives strategic decisions in the entertainment industry. Leveraging sales funnels, I created a detailed presentation comparing ticket sales across genres and cities in India, identifying trends and audience preferences. This experience strengthened my analytical, technical, and visualization skills while highlighting the real-world impact of data-driven insights.

Competitions

Wharton Investment Competition
Team Leader

I guided a 7 member team in analyzing sector-specific market trends and developing a data-driven investment strategy. We managed a simulated portfolio with a budget of $100,000, strategically allocating funds across 17 companies based on financial indicators, risk assessment, and growth potential. Through disciplined research and collaborative decision-making, we achieved a 3% return on investment within 10 weeks, refining my skills in financial analysis, portfolio management, and team leadership.

Leadership

Vivum / Zephyr / Pi-thon
Head of Finance

As Head of Finance for three major events at The International School Bangalore, I was entrusted with preparing and managing a combined budget exceeding $127,000. Working closely with school administration, I developed comprehensive financial plans, secured necessary approvals, and maintained transparent records detailing every disbursement and inflow. Leading the sponsorship and fundraising efforts, I successfully acquired over $120,000 for Vivum’25, India’s largest student-led charitable event, enabling a donation of $11,000 to the Sri Shankara Cancer Foundation. Additionally, I raised $4500 for Pi-Thon & $2200 for Zephyr. This role demanded precision, strategic planning, and persuasive communication, strengthening my leadership and financial management skills. Beyond numbers, it taught me the value of responsibility and the power of student initiatives to create tangible social impact.
